I have known Stefanie for quite a while, since she started coming to my family’s church YEARS ago. I think everyone knew her as the girl who loved the Phillies, eagles, and all things sports. A couple years later she brought a guy who loved sports just as much as she did and we all knew they were perfect for each other.
A few years into their love story, Stef got pregnant with a beautiful little girl who they named Josie. They had always talked about adoption because of their infertility issues and they were thrilled when they got pregnant. They lost their perfect little girl at 39 weeks pregnant on that day they decided that they if they were meant to have a child, it would be through adoption.

A few years into their love story, Stef got pregnant with a beautiful little girl who they named Josie. They had always talked about adoption because of their infertility issues and they were thrilled when they got pregnant. They lost their perfect little girl at 39 weeks pregnant on that day they decided that they if they were meant to have a child, it would be through adoption.
The process of adoption is not easy. They made their interview video, sent it in and got all the paperwork in order. They knew it could happen at any moment so they waited patiently to meet their new little one. I can’t Imagine the excitement that went through their heads as they waited to complete their little family.
Kip said “Any time the phone rang, you kinda thought this could be it. You’d answer the phone and it’d be a credit card company.”
On Wednesday February 22nd they got a call. A baby was born and the birth parents had chosen Stefanie and kip to be the parents. Big sister, Maddie, got a call when she got off the bus for school that she was going to go meet her new little brother and she replied “wait, is this a real baby or do you mean a puppy?” They welcomed little JJ into their arms and their hearts that Wednesday and he has completed their family.
Baby Justin has the most incredible hair, so fluffy and black! He was so wide awake and his eyes could melt ANYONES heart. He was so sweet for his big photo shoot was so calm. Stef and Kip are perfect parents and I’m so excited to see what God has in store for their amazing little family!
The details in his nursery were so sweet. The book shelf with his initials in book pages just made my heart melt! The colors were a perfect calming blue and you could tell that JJ loved being in his room!
